Excellent - what an improvement on the previous site - it seems on first pass as though the site can really support the principle of partnership.

Two quickies - one is the links to the pdf’s of the theological papers does not seem to work - maybe thats just an example for now.
Also, is it in mind to have rss feeds which could then be incorporated in - for example google home pages?

Justin

Paul asked for RSS links - can I ask if you are going to act as a list server? - what I mean by that is that you have already got (with the notification email) half of it. If I could reply to the mail notification from within my email software then....

I appreciate that Affinity needs people actually to visit on-site, but if the list-server aspect was limited to subscribed threads only (and you did not allow a setting ‘subscribe to all threads’) then people would still have to come on very regularly but needn’t do so just to reply to a specific forum message in a specific thread.

Just a suggestion

PaulH - most definitely, there will be a couple of RSS feeds available (the ones currently there don’t work correctly, but will do soon).

bonnyjars - I’m not sure if it’s possible - but I will look into it a little further down the line.

Sorry to disagree, but please don’t allow listserv. If Jonny means posting by email, then I would imagine that would be quite complex (checking for registered users, sorting out formatting, etc.), which would not be worthy of the investment.

RSS feeds on the otherhand are a must, in every area of the site.
