As Jonathan raised the issue of song projection.....Powerpoint is time consuming to prep, and profressional song projection software enormously expensive for a smaller church.  However, we use an open source project (free software) called OpenSong which you can find at http://www.opensong.org.  OK, so it has limitations, but it’s free.  Also free is http://www.easislides.com though we found it does not quite live up to it’s name!

Nice to know that there are 2 bible minded Christians in the world, but a bit worrying that there only appear to be 2. Is any one else out there?

Just a short note to say that the best song projection software I’ve used by far has to be ZionWorx..  Stable, reliable, easy-to-use and free - we’ve used it for a couple of years and it’s definitely aided our corporate Church worship.

It integrates with PowerPoint and doesn’t need a particularly powerful computer to run smoothly.  I just thought I’d advertise it because it’s a great product for Churches to use.

I tried Zionworx a couple of years ago and was most impressed. I can only assume that it has matured in that time.

Yes it has.  The latest version included a built-in Bible which has a couple of versions within it, and a direct connection to Bible Gateway so that you can download passages from any version directly into the software (including the much-used NIV!).
