The image at the moment is just a static one of two sand-covered hands, a holding image whilst proper images are chosen.  This is where your help is required.

Can you think of suitable topics or images which could be shown (on a rotational basis) here?  If you have an original photo that could be used (perhaps with a small credit), then we’d love to hear from you - obviously, the image needs to be suitably framed or suitable for cropping (long and thin!).

If you don’t have your own images, then why not visit iStockphoto.com, a great website that we will happily buy images from.  Copy-and-paste the web addresses for the image that you suggest into this forum, and then we can get some ideas together.

Thank you!

You could use group photos sent in by churches / organisations, or photos from any recent events, like on the UCCF Website, where the current picture is a photo of people at a Relay workers event.

I like the image that is there now - I don’t know whether it means anything, but I think that type of image is good - ie. full color photo type thing that is this size. Brings a warm welcome feeling to the site as it’s the first thing people see. Please check out http://www.om.org - there is rotational images that reflect the nature of the work - I think it should be like this - reflecting the diversity of cultures of people in our churches - also there are many missionaries working around the world from our churches - prehaps use pictures of them in their circumstances.

Earlier I suggested using images from Affinity affiliated churches on the Affinity homepage.

Here are some examples (found by clicking some of the links to Individual Churches from http://www.affinity.org.uk/belonging/article/affinity_partners/ )

Thanks, Ben. Yes, church pictures is what we’d like - but no-one’s sent them in!  The recent pictures chosen are definitely an improvement on the ‘hands’ that were there for 12 months.

As you can see, we’re busy making continuous updates and you’ll see various other changes taking place soon.
