There has been relative religious freedom in Ageria since 2000.  As a result, the churches in Algeria has seen tremendous growth in the last 5 or 6 years.  There are now tens of thousands of believers in that country.

However, there is now legislation coming into force in Algeria which will subjest the churches to severe restrictions and make evangelism almost impossible.

Go to http://www.righttojustice.org and click on ‘Algeria for details.
[Lots of other worrying stuff there also]

It is important that as many letters as possible are sent to the Algerian embassies around the world protesting at theis legislation.  Write to:-

His Excellency Mr Mohamed Salah Dembri
Embassy of Algeria,
54, Holland Park,
London W11 3RS

And get your church and friends to do likewise.  Letter-writing campaigns of this sort often yield results.
