Have any churches got NKJV Pew Bibles out there which are spare or surplus to requirements? (e.g. if your church has switched to ESV or NIV).
If so, my church would be interested in them. We have found that they are quite expensive to buy new, and we are of,well, limited means, shall we say.We need about 20 and would be willing to pay postage etc.
If so please call me on 01702 471336.
Thanks

The cheapest we have been able to find them for on the net is £7.We need hardback ones, so I think thats why its been so difficult.
The members are all older, and are understandably cautious with money. But my wife and I think we do need some for any visitors( and Praise God there have been a few since the induction-probably to check out the new boy!)-members and regular attenders all bring their own.
I believe that the Met Tab bookshop can be overlooked by some because of the emphasis of the ministry of Dr Peter Masters. This often means that the bookshop only sells a limited range - it is a specific policy which is consistent with the church ethos.
HOWEVER
When the bookshop DOES sell something, the price is almost always very good.
The NKJV bibles we have are hardback, although I don’t like the print size that much.
BUT
It seems that, alas, the £4.50 bibles have come to an end, and now the cheapest are, indeed, £7.00. You can get ‘floppy’ ones for £4.50, but not hardback. Seems that we got a bargain - was only three months ago we upgraded.
I have never used the site so can’t personally recommend. There seem to be plenty of American sites that will sell bibles and with the exchange rate as it is, you might get NKJV hardback pew bibles for £5 each, like these on a random site that Google turned up:
I have now located some-thanks to the Affinity website.I got a call recently from Pastor Steve Bell of Beulah Evangelical Church Isle of Wigt- and he is sending some to us.Thanks Steve, and Affinity!
