Admission to Church of England Schools
Despite a longstanding agreement with the Church of England Board of Education, members of Affinity Partner churches are sometimes discriminated against when seeking a place for their child in a church school, on the grounds that their congregation does not belong to a recognised denomination or ecumenical body.
This occurred because of the name change from BEC to Affinity. We have now received confirmation from the Church of England Board of Education that the change of name has been noted and that the agreement still stands.

What is the agreement you have with the CofE, and where can I get a copy to give to our local CofE school who know nothing of Affinity (or BEC).
We successfully got our 2nd child into the school, after being downgraded to category 4 - Other World Faiths… lower than non-practicing christians! This was after being told by the admissions Vicar that we could be a cult!
