Introducing ‘The Market Place’

Everyone goes to The Market Place, not only to buy and sell, but to have a good look at what’s on offer, and to chat to friends and make some new ones.  It is where you come to trade both items and ideas. I don’t suppose anybody really wants those ancient copies of Redemption Hymnal, but if you’re keen to pass on those ‘good-as-new’ copies of Praise! - because everything now is digitally projected - this may be where you can find them a new home. Better still, you can tell us about that evangelistic initiative that’s had a real impact on your neighbourhood, or why you think it is that your congregation is now praying more fervently than ever.

Then again, does your church have some particularly pressing personnel or material needs? This is the place to say, ‘If only we...’ - and perhaps another fellowship just down the road, or hundreds of miles away, can come to the rescue. Let’s see if we can even out our resources a little (2 Corinthians 8:13-15).

Remember, there’s nothing else quite like The Market Place out there, and the potential number of visitors is huge. So use your imagination, think in practical terms, and let’s see just how useful to God’s kingdom we can make it!
