Manchester – a call to prayer

Further information about the terrorist act in Manchester is coming to light and the status of the terror threat alert has been raised. We are also hearing heart-rending stories from family members of those who were killed in the attack.

We continue to call on the church to be active in prayer and service.

Ralph Cunnington, from City Church Manchester (an Affinity member church), says:

“Pray for us as a church as we seek to hold out the hope of the gospel to a hurting community; pray that we would be peacemakers with tensions that might arise in the weeks to come; pray for those who are emotionally scarred by what they saw in the attack; and that God would bring good out of this great evil.”
