Affinity is a partnership of about 1,200 Gospel churches, evangelical agencies and individual Christians committed to working together to advance the work of the Gospel in the UK and Ireland and around the world.

Amongst other things it promotes mutual encouragement and prayer between its members and the Director seeks to represent the views and concerns of Bible-believing evangelicals to the media and wider society, all for the glory of God.

The current Assistant to the Director is retiring at the end of 2021. The trustees wish to appoint someone in his place, to begin sometime before the start of 2022.

The role includes overseeing the commissioning, editing and publishing of social media posts, press releases, academic articles, bulletins and newsletters, organising conferences and other events, as well as a wide variety of general administration and secretarial support.

It requires a high level of literacy and numeracy, a good level of theological understanding, as well as efficient and organised working practices.

The appointment is for four days a week, at a pro-rata salary of between £25,000 and £30,000, depending on experience and skills. The successful candidate will work from home.
