Job vacancy: Director at Lovewise

Lovewise, an agency member, is seeking to appoint a part-time Director.

Lovewise was founded in 2002 to equip parents, churches and schools to teach young people a Christian perspective on puberty, marriage, relationships, and sex.

Dr Chris Richards, who co-founded Lovewise, has worked voluntarily as Director since the beginning and would now like to step back and hand on the baton to someone else. The Lovewise Trustees are looking to appoint a new Director to lead the organisation into its next season of ministry in consultation with the Trustees and Deputy Director.

They are seeking a man to head up and complement the current all female team. He would need to be a committed and practicing Christian who is able to sign up to the Lovewise statement of faith and code of practice.

The role could involve hybrid working, combining home working with regular meetings at the charity’s base in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Hours: Part time (20 hours per week)
Salary: £26,000-£29,000 per annum, according to level of experience.
