The latest edition of Foundations has been published – Winter 2022

Written by Joel Upton

We are delighted to publish the latest issue of our theological journal Foundations. All articles are free to view online or download.

Issue 83 brings together a number of articles which focus on the vital area of mission. The first article carries on the conversation in our previous Issue (Spring 2022) about evangelising to Muslims. This is followed by a helpful perspective on cross-cultural training for missionaries written by an experienced Crosslinks mission partner. The third article considers the phenomenon known as the “Insider Movement”. This is the question of how a convert to Christianity in a Muslim country should relate to Islam and is well worth a read. The final two articles consider the nature of worship, and the effects of one stirring worship service from church history. Lastly, we close this Issue of Foundations with two reviews of books by Chee-Chiew Lee and Carl Trueman.

We hope you will enjoy Foundations 83 – and please encourage others to read it as well!

While you’re here, we are reviewing whether we restart a printed version of Foundations and we’d love to get your opinion. If you have 60 seconds please could you complete this anonymous survey?
